Akvis Sketch now compatible with Leopard, Photoshop Elements 6.0

Akvis has released version 6.0 of Akvis Sketch for Mac OS X and Windows. The update is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”) and Photoshop Elements 6.0.
What’s more, the upgrade offers a new effect. Now you can not only convert a photo to a drawing or a watercolor painting, but also give it an artistic touch by adding a canvas, or any other textured surface (corrugated paper, brick wall, metallic or ceramic coating). Also in Akvis Sketch 6.0, you can imitate a drawing on a canvas or any other uneven surface. You can use the built-in textures or use your own ones. The plug-in version of Akvis Sketch is compatible with Adobe Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, Corel Painter, Corel Photo-Paint, and Paint Shop Pro, ACD FotoCanvas, and Ulead PhotoImpact. Akvis Sketch runs on Mac OS X 10.4 and higher. It’s Universal Binary so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. The 6.0 upgrade is free for registered users. For new users the cost is US$72.
