Akvis LightShop now Universal Binary

Akvis has updated Akvis LightShop for Mac and Windows systems to version 2.0. The software lets you create a number of light effects that an animate any photo. Now the program is available in both standalone and plug-in versions.

Version 2.0 is an Universal Binary update so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. It’s also compatible with Photoshop Elements 6.0. It also adds compatibility with Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”) and a new interface language (French).

The plug-in version of Akvis LightShop is compatible with Adobe Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, Corel Painter, Corel Photo-Paint, Paint Shop Pro and Ulead PhotoImpact. Akvis LightShop runs on Mac OS X 10.3.9-10.5, Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/NT/2003/Vista; and on Macintosh Mac OS X 10.3.9-10.5.

Akvis LightShop sells for US$117. Or you can buy the Akvis plug-ins in the Akvis Alchemy bundle (Decorator, Enhancer, Chameleon, Stamp, Retoucher, Coloriage, Noise Buster, Sketch, LightShop, Frame Suite) for $325 USD, a savings of $393 over purchasing each separately.
