Can you believe it? There are four pages of 3G iPhones for sale on eBay already. Prices are starting at $.99 (from a Power Seller) all the way to $999.00 (Buy it Now). These are all stated as “pre-orders.”
One seller states, “You are bidding on a pre-order for the 16 GB BRAND NEW APPLE 2.0 iPhone with 3G. The iPhone is to be released on July 11th and will be shipped out that very same day (time permitting). Shipping will include free priority mail anywhere within the US, although shipping internationally will be 35 dollars. Please indicate after purchase if you would like it in white or black.
***As of right now nothing official has been posted by Apple that says all activations will be done in store. Please do send me emails telling me this. I am a very conscious seller and will stay on top of any developments and stay in touch with the buyer in the event anything comes up.
****Buyers I offer a 100% full refund if any issues arise due to the inability to ship the phone to you where you can not activate it.
Please purchase with confidence, and email me with any questions. My feedback is important to me and I am in this to offer a service and not risk hurting my feedback!”
The bid was up to $355.00 for this iPhone and it had 18 hours of bidding left on it yet.
Caution buying one of these new 3G models off eBay. There may be scam artists out there just waiting to steal your money. I would stick with someone that had a lot of positive feedback—preferably a Power Seller.
