2hadow theme for RapidWeaver is now free

The 2hadow theme for the RapidWeaver 4 web creation software is now offered by seyDoggy as an open source product.

It was a variant of 2hadow that, in 2005, launched the theme design career of seyDoggy. Originally developed for RapidWeaver 3.1, the then dubbed “Shadow” was continually upgraded through each version of RapidWeaver that followed.

“It’s just time to let this theme go,” says 2hadows designer, Adam Merrifield. “It’s from another era in our history and it’s time it had some new life and new meaning.”,

The 2hadows release to the open source vault comes in the form of an update. Now at version 7, 2hadow is said to work better with recent YourHead plug-ins such as Carrousel, Kwix and the shiny new Collage 2.

The newly open sourced 2hadow is covered under creative commons license, Attribution-Share Alike 3.0. seyDoggy encourages users to download and experiment with 2hadow r7 but also urges users to share their mods back with the seyDoggy and the community.
